Character
Has emerged as an exceptional leader after almost quitting team after 2003-04 season, when the Aggies went 7-21 (0-16 in Big 12). Has thrived under Coach Billy Gillipsie and has been a main cog in the Aggies dramatic turnaround (21-10 and NIT in 2005; 22-9 and second round of NCAAs in 2006).

Has been involved in Aggie Athletes Involved (AAI), Aggies Can! Food Drive, and The Aggie Dream Team reading program.

Preseason candidate for Bob Cousy Award (nation’s top point guard), Preseason first-team All-Big 12 (coaches, various publications), Preseason honorable mention All-American (Athlon), 2006 First-team All-Big 12 (various newspapers), 2006 NABC first-team All-District, 2005 Big 12 Most-Improved Team, 2005 Big 12 Honorable mention All-Big 12, led team in scoring in 2005-06 with a 16.1 average (17.3 in Big 12 play).
