Classroom

Glick is a dual major with a 3.43 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in Business Management and Business Marketing, and a three-time A-Sun All-Academic honoree.

Character

Glick is a three-time FGCU team captain. He suffered major injuries three times and bounced back even stronger each time, the most significant came in 2009 with a torn meniscus that resulted in 4 weeks in the hospital after a staph infection caused him to lose 60 pounds, he sat out the entire 2009 season and returned in 2010 to win A-Sun Defensive Player of the Year and lead FGCU to an A-Sun regular season title.

Community

Glick is the men’s soccer representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee . He is a Boys & Girls Club of Lee County mentor, he is on the NCAA Steering Committee, he is a Student-Athlete representative, a Toys for Tots volunteer since 2007, a Salvation Army volunteer since 2007, an American Heart Association/American Red Cross fundraiser participant, a local soccer instructor since 2007, and an American Cancer Society Relay for Life fundraiser and participant.

Competition

Glick is the 2011 A-Sun Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. He was the 2010 A-Sun Defensive Player of the Year and All-Conference first team selection and led FGCU to a perfect 9-0 record in the A-Sun in 2010 en route to regular season title in just the fourth year of the program. He led the A-Sun in four categories, including shutouts with eight. He is the program’s all-time leader in every goal statistical category, has 26 wins and 16 shutouts in three seasons, and was the the recipient of the Duane Swanson Sr. Inspiration Award at the 2011 FGCU Awards Ceremony.
