Character

Robinson has the respect of his teammates and coaches, exemplified by his twice being named the winner of the T.E.A.M. (Temple’s Exceptional Acts for Mankind) Award. “Without a doubt, Adrian Robinson is truly one of the finest young men I have ever had the pleasure to coach,” Temple coach Steve Addazio said. “... Adrian has been the quintessential role model for our program and has set the standard for which all players should follow.”

Community

During his time at Temple, Robinson has spent a lot of time reaching out to the local community. Some of his ventures include visiting the Ronald McDonald House, serving as an instructor at youth football camps, assisting with the annual Diamond Street clean-up and sharing the importance of education, self-discipline and the active participation in athletics to parents and kids at the One Child Saved Campaign. He has also helped with a Thanksgiving food drive, the annual Temple bone marrow donor drive and worked with Owls for the Cure.

Competition

Robinson enters his senior year as a preseason All-American and first-team All-MAC honoree. He’s also on the Broncko Nagurski Trophy watch list. As a junior, Robinson was just one of seven Owls to start every game and earned his second straight first-team All-MAC honor after recording 38 tackles, including 4.5 for loss, and 3.5 sacks. In 2009 he was the MAC Defensive Player of the Year.
