Schneider has been a strong member of the community as part of UAlbany women’s soccer. The team is involved with the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, adopting Amazing Abby, who has pre-B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, for the 2016 season. She and the team play with TOPS soccer, a group that works with special needs children, and also helps as part of the team with the annual campus clean-up.

Competition

Schneider, the first-ever two-time first-team America East All-Conference Team player in UAlbany women’s soccer history, has served as a team captain that past two seasons and is fourth all-time in goals and points scored in UAlbany women’s soccer program history. A four-year starting midfielder, she has led the Great Danes in goals as a freshman and a junior, taking UAlbany to the program’s first-ever America East Tournament title and NCAA Tournament berth in 2015.
