Alex Bohl made the Dean’s List as a freshman and was accepted into the organizational leadership master’s program at Robert Morris, which he is on track to complete at the conclusion of this year as part of the integrated master’s program. Bohl has secured a full-time marketing internship for the summer of 2017 with a high-end printing company called Hatteras where he will among a marketing team of other collegiate lacrosse student-athletes. As part of the internship, he will have an opportunity to work alongside Mad Dog Lacrosse, which is an elite travel team that assists high school lacrosse players with the recruitment process.

Character

Bohl has grown tremendously throughout his career as a Colonial. His maturity and work ethic are very apparent in both his play on the field and in his work in the classroom and the community. He is a proven leader in community service efforts, and his dedication to his academics is evident, as he is looking to complete his master’s degree at the conclusion of this year. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty as a Division I student-athlete.

Community

Bohl was a head coach for the U13 Pine Richland Lacrosse team in 2016. He is currently a head coach for the U13 Moon Township lacrosse organization and is also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at RMU.

Competition

Last season, Bohl finished fourth on the team in points (24) with 11 goals and 13 assists in 15 games, including 11 starts. The 2016 season was by far the most productive for the midfield. He scored a hat trick in a 13-8 win over perennial NEC championship contender Saint Joseph’s and recorded a career-high four points in an 11-10 win at Mercer.
