Alexis Conaway has been a 4.0 student through her first three years at Iowa State while majoring in kinesiology. She is a two-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree, and as a freshman earned Big 12 Academic All-Rookie Team honors.
Character
Conaway is an active member of Iowa State’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
Community
Through Iowa State’s SAAC program, Conaway has been active in running ISU’s Soles4Souls program (shoe fundraiser), canned food drives at sporting events and adopt-a-family at Christmas time. She also has worked the last two summers at FCA-sponsored volleyball camps in California.
Competition
Conaway is Iowa State’s all-time leader in career hitting percentage (.335 as of nomination time). Her single-season hitting percentage from each of her first three seasons ranks in the top-seven of ISU program history. She was a member of the All-Big 12 First Team in 2015 and 2016.
