Patberg graduated from Indiana’s world-renowned Kelley School of Business in May 2020 with a degree in finance where she held a 3.7 GPA and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in recreational administration.

Patberg is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree, and 2020 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.

Character

Patberg displays the true ideals of a point guard and leader. A three-year captain for Indiana, Patberg is a selfless individual who puts others before herself and earns respect naturally from her teammates and coaches. Patberg’s highly-competitive nature is a driving force behind the program’s success and a fan favorite among the Hoosier faithful. Patberg is a leader by example who is constantly supporting her teammates and everyone within the program.

Community

Patberg has dedicated her time to countless volunteer outreach programs during her time at Indiana including IU Women’s Basketball special event called Candy Stripe Crew. The event, which Patberg has participated in all four years while she’s been at Indiana, the team hosts 50 disabled and handicapped adult and children for a two-hour basketball clinic.

Other volunteer work Patberg has participated in includes Habitat for Humanity Build, Camp Riley Hoosiers Outrun Cancer, Salvation Army Kettlebell Kick-Off, Fairview Hoosier Readers, Fairview recess buddies and Read Across America.

Competition

A two-time All-Big Ten selection, Patberg has garnered national attention during her three seasons at Indiana. A 2020 WBCA All-American honorable mention, Patberg has scored over 1,000 points in her career in Cream and Crimson, the 28th member if IU’s 1,000 point club.

Patberg was a 2020 finalist for the Nancy Lieberman Award for the nation’s top point guard while earning spots on a variety national award watch list including Wooden Award Late Season Top 20, Ann Meyers Drysdale award watch list, and Naismith Trophy midseason team. Patberg is a two-time Big Ten All-Tournament team selection and was named to the Paradise Jam All-Tournament team.
