Classroom

In the classroom, Chandler has maintained a 3.667 grade point average in communication disorders. In 2011, she was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America Capital One Academic All-America All-District 6 team in addition to the SEC Academic Honor Roll and to UA’s Athletic Director’s List and Honor Roll. Over the course of her career, she has been named to multiple SEC and UA academic honor rolls, including UA’s Academic Champions list for a perfect 4.0 semester grade point average.  She was also named to the College of Education Dean’s List for 2010-11.

Community

In the community, Chandler has been involved in multiple service projects. She has participated in a local soccer clinic, helped with a running club at Butterfield Elementary, volunteered at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter and assisted with a tornado cleanup effort in Joplin, Mo. She has also volunteered at the Samaritan House soup kitchen, participated in the Lift Up America - Feeding The Hunger program in Northwest Arkansas, and made regular visits to the Butterfield Retirement Village. Chandler has assisted with the Special Olympics, volunteered at the Seven Hills Homeless Shelter, and participated with the Book Hogs Read To Win and Sweat Hawgs physical fitness programs at local elementary schools. She has also participated in the Leadership Academic Program on campus.

Competition

On the field, as a junior in 2011, she earned second-team All-SEC honors as a forward, which was the second All-SEC honor of her career. Chandler led the team with 83 shots and 29 shots on goal, was second with one game-winner, and third with two goals, four points and a .349 shots on goal percentage. She was second in the SEC with 83 shots and 4.61 shots per game. In SEC play only, she was second in the conference with 62 shots and 5.64 shots per game. She was fourth on the team overall and third among non-keepers with 1,426 minutes played. Chandler was one of five Razorbacks to start all 18 games and had a shot on goal in every game except the second game of the year at Kansas. Chandler scored the game-winner in the 1-0 win over Mississippi State, helping the Razorbacks get off to a 2-0 SEC start. She also scored in the near upset of No. 8 Florida. In 2010, she was named by TopDrawerSoccer.com as one of the top five SEC sophomores to watch for the season. She missed the last three games with an injury, but played in 16 with 14 starts, and finished second on the team with four goals, tied for second with two assists and third with 10 points. In her last three games of the year, she had two points against Kentucky, four against Mississippi State and one against Ole Miss. She had a team-high 57 shots with 18 on goal for a .316 percentage. Chandler helped Arkansas improve its SEC scoring from five goals in 2009 to 17 in 2010. She also helped the Razorbacks record six shutouts, including the 0-0 double-overtime tie at No. 17 Georgia, which was just the second non-loss in 27 all-time meetings with ranked teams. In 2009, Chandler was an SEC All-Freshman selection. She played in all 19 games with 14 starts. She led the team with five goals, 12 points, 71 shots and 34 shots on goal. She was eighth with 1,167 minutes and fourth with two assists. In SEC play, she was second with four points, tied for first with two goals, and first with 57 shots and 29 shots on goal.
