Classroom

Knight carries a 3.77 grade-point average. She was named the SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 18, 2013 and earned 2013-14 SoCon All-Academic and Academic Honor Roll honors. She earned the same set of honors in 2012-13, but received two SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week awards instead of one. She also earned a place on the SoCon Academic Honor Roll in 2011-12.

Character

Knight was named 2014-15 the team captain by her teammates and coaching staff.

Community

Knight has volunteered in the following capacities: Statesboro Relay for Life (2012-2014); 2013 Southern Conference Track and Field Outdoor Championships; Hilton Head Wheelchair Tennis Tournament; and the Boys and Girls Club of America. She also has spent time reading to students at Claxton Elementary School.

Competition

In 2013-14, Knight earned All-SoCon (Coaches), All-SoCon (Media), SoCon All-Tournament Second-Team, and two SoCon Player of the Week honors. She also was named to the 2011-12 SoCon All-Freshman Team. In her junior season, she ranked third in the SoCon in scoring with 15.9 points a game, 11th in the SoCon in 3-point percentage (.350) and seventh in 3-pointers made (1.4/gm). She also ranked 10th in the league in free-throw percentage (.759), scored in double figures in 27 games and tallied the first triple-double in program history with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists at Samford (Jan. 6, 2014). Knight became just the third Eagle to score 400 points in a season since 1998-99 and the 21st Eagle to top the 1,000-point mark after netting 20 against Chattanooga in the SoCon Tourney. She was just the sixth Eagle to reach that mark in her junior season. Knight led the Eagles in scoring in 17 games, in rebounding eight times and in assists in four contests and scored 20-plus points in five outings. Has played in 90 career games with 71 starts, and prior to the season had 1,006 career points, 412 rebounds and 132 assists.
