Classroom
Wittman holds a 3.269 GPA and is a sports management major. An Academic All-Big Ten selection, She has also been a member of the Minnesota’s Scholar Athlete honoree.
Character
Wittman is the Golden Gophers’ team captain. She is a leader both on and off the court and has led the Gophers her last two seasons.
Community
Wittman has been active within Minnesota’s MAGIC (Maroon and Gold Impacting the Community). She also assists youth volleyball as well as Special Olympics.
Competition
Wittman landed on the Preseason All-Big Ten for the third time in her four-year career. Wittman was the Golden Gophers’ 2012 team captain and was named an All-America and All-Big Ten honorable mention. A six-rotation player, Wittman anchored the 2012 Gopher defense when she led the team with 350 digs to average 2.8 per set. Posting over 1,000 career kills, Wittman was a 2011 All-American and unanimous All-Big Ten selection her sophomore year when she led the team in kills (566), kps (4.48) and points (607).
