Classroom

Aubrey not only excels on the diamond but in classroom as well earning a 3.65 GPA as a Communication major while triple minoring in Marketing, Business Administration, and Psychology. As a member of the rigorous Bryant University Honors Program, Aubrey spent the fall semester of her junior year at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand as part of the Study Abroad program. She also spend winter break of her sophomore year in Europe as part of Bryant’s Sophomore International Experience studying communication across cultures in Spain and Germany. Aubrey is also a three-time National Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Academic All-American.

Aubrey also spent time as an intern at Turner Broadcasting Systems (TBS) during the summer of 2013 where she assisted with competitive network analysis and programming on-air graphics. She also spent two weeks in China where she worked on a pair of video documentary projects, collaborating with Bryant faculty and production teams.

Character

Not only is Aubrey the Bryant Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Co-Chair and the Volunteers Core Chair for the Special Olympics of RI committee, she is captain of the 2014 Bryant University softball team and has been a Bryant University Ambassador and Bulldog Leader since 2011. Aubrey helps promote Bryant through campus tours, helping incoming freshmen adjust to campus life. She is a student blogger for the University, helping promote student life on campus.

Community

Aubrey is also an exemplary leader among the Bryant community. As Co-Chair of the Bryant Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, she oversees all SAAC events and charity work. She was the recipient of the 2013 Rhode Island Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Award Winner, which is awarded annually to female student-athletes who excel on the field of play, in the classroom, and in the community.

Aubrey is the Volunteers Core Chair for the Special Olympics of RI committee, recruiting members of the Bryant community to volunteers in Special Olympic events. Each of the last three years she has coordinated over 500 volunteers on the day of the games to participated in the Special Olympics of Rhode Island.

Competition

In 2013, Mable put together one of the finest campaigns in Bryant’s five-year Division I history. Her numbers ranked near the top in almost every offensive category, highlighted by her .396 batting average that ranks second in the DI era, behind only the .419 average she posted as a freshman. As a junior, Mable tallied 55 hits with 27 runs scored, 7 homeruns, 37 RBI and 18 doubles (most all-time in program history).
For her career, she holds the Division I Bryant record in almost every major offensive statistic after just three seasons in Smithfield, ranking first in batting average, slugging percentage, on base percentage, runs scored, hits, doubles, triples, home runs and RBI and Her .393 career batting average, 151 career hits, 92 RBI and 19 homeruns all rank in the top five in program history. The Colorado-native earned back-to-back First Team All-NEC honors in 2012 and 2013 and a Second Team All-NEC selection as a freshman in 2011.
