Classroom
Austin Meacham is an excellent student in the classroom and is spoken highly of by peers and teachers. He has a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and is scheduled to graduate this spring.
Character
Meacham is the team captain as selected by his peers to lead the team. He is an honest, hard-working and passionate individual who wants to make those around him better people and better athletes. He meets with the men’s lacrosse coaching staff regularly to discuss leadership and other areas he wishes to keep improving.
Community
Meacham is a great leader who organizes and executes community service events regularly. He mentors younger players on the team and across campus through his roles in SAAC and SAM. He helped to raise a Dartmouth sports team record of over $5,000 at the CHaD Hero 5k run.
Competition
Meacham is a two-time All-Ivy player with a second-team selection in 2018 and an honorable mention nod in 2017. He has started 35/40 career games and led the team in caused turnovers (14) and was second in ground balls (39) in 2018.
