An exercise physiology major with a concentration in the health professions area, Bianca St. Georges shows a cumulative GPA of 4.0. She is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American (first team 2017, third team 2016) and two-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree. In 2017, St. Georges was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team and made first-team USCA Scholar All-Region. St. Georges is a president’s list honoree and a member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Garrett Ford Academic Honor Roll and was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team in 2015. She has received all these accolades with her primary language being French.

Character

St. Georges is a two-time team captain (2017, 2018) because she is vocal leader on the team. She is the most requested player by media, and she never turns down a obligation to share about her collegiate career. St. Georges is competitive and does an excellent job of balancing her academic obligations with her athletic obligations at WVU, while also pursuing a professional playing career and future opportunities with the Canadian Women’s National Team.

Community

St. Georges has made visits to the WVU Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House with her teammates. She has assisted in the program’s efforts to raise money for breast cancer research, and she has volunteered at WVU women’s soccer team camps and clinics.

Competition

A four-year starter at outside back, St. Georges has started 65 of 66 career matches (as of nomination time). She has helped WVU claim two Big 12 Conference regular-season titles and the 2016 Big 12 Soccer Championship. WVU has qualified for the NCAA Tournament each season since her rookie season in 2015 and advanced to the Elite Eight (2015), NCAA College Cup Final (2016) and Sweet 16 (2017). The Mountaineers show a 59-11-9 (21-1-2 Big 12) record with St. Georges as of nomination time, and the WVU defense has posted 48 shutouts in that time-frame through games played Sept. 2, 2018. St. Georges shows 19 career points (3 G, 13 A), and her 13 career helpers rank No. 1 on the team.

St. Georges is a 2018 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List member and was named to the 2018 Preseason All-Big 12 Team. She also landed on the Boilermaker Challenge Cup All-Tournament Team. In 2017, St. Georges was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Tam and the All-Big 12 First Team. She also claimed the Team MVP honor and was a two-time Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week. The 2015 Big 12 Freshman of the Year, she also was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team and All-Big 12 Freshman Team.

St. Georges was only available for 14 matches in 2016, as she also was competing with the Canadian U-20 Women’s National Team at the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. She was the squad’s captain.
