Ross has a cumulative GPA of 3.173 while majoring in Sociology and minoring in Philosphy. He was named to the 2007 ACC All-Academic Men’s Lacrosse Team and to the 2007 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Character

“One of the things I admire most about Brad Ross is his character,” said Duke head coach John Danowski. “He is as fine a young man as we have in our program. He is consistent in everything he does. Watching him interact with his teammates, his family and members of our community is special.”; Ross was voted team captain for the 2008 season by his teammates.

Community

Ross has done volunteer work with the Durham-based Ronald McDonald House as well as tutoring at Watts Elementary School in Durham.

Competition

Named USILA Honorable Mention All-America in 2007 after totaling 30 points on 22 goals and eight assists; Ranked fourth on the Duke team in scoring; ACC Player of the Week honoree after scoring the game-winning goal in Duke’s 7-6 victory over Virginia on April 14, 2007; In 2007, helped Duke to a 17-3 record including both the ACC regular season and tournament championships and an appearance in the NCAA championship game; In three seasons, has helped the Blue Devils to a 40-8 overall record including 22 wins over nationally-ranked opponents and an 11-2 ledger versus ACC opponents.
