Corp was named to the 2008 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Character

A leader by example on the field, Corp is a 2009 team captain. Corp, who spends extra time at practice each day fine tuning his game led Colgate to an upset victory over Navy in the 2008 Patriot League Tournament. After trailing 3-0, Corp scored a career-high five goals and added an assist for six points to lead the Raiders to a thrilling 12-9 victory over the Midshipmen. Corp’s five goals tied the Patriot League Tournament record for goals in a game.

Community

Sharing his talent in the classroom Corp spends one day a week volunteering with Pre-K students at the Hamilton Elementary School. Corp also works lacrosse camps/clinics during the summer and winter breaks.

Competition

Brandon Corp was voted the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Preseason Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season.  The reigning Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, Corp also earned preseason all-Patriot League and preseason all-American recognition from Face Off Yearbook. He garnered third team all-American recognition last season after headlining the Colgate attack with a league-best 56 points off of 41 goals and 15 assists.  Corp’s 41 tallies last season ranks fifth all-time, while his overall 56 points is seventh in Colgate single-season history. He is a three-time all-Patriot League selection, earning first-team recognition each of the past two seasons. Corp has tallied at least one point in 33 consecutive games, dating back to the beginning of the 2007 season. He proved to be instrumental in the Raiders’ run to the Patriot League Championship, registering a Patriot League Tournament record eight goals and 11 points in the two games, including five tallies in the semifinal upset of Navy. For his career he has 92 goals and 39 assists for 131 points. He currently ranks sixth all-time in career goals and is 10th career points.
