Carlee Wallace, a kinesiology major, is a two-time Academic All-SEC selection who maintained her eligibility and classwork during a difficult transfer transition.
Character
Wallace leads by example, fighting through injuries and setbacks to be there for teammates no matter what. She is a spark plug for the team when it comes to motivation and is a constant competitor. She is the first to volunteer for opportunities to help others or speak to groups.
Community
Wallace has helped with campus move-in, worked with her church group to help honor a local homeless outreach organization, and visited children affected by hurricane disasters. She speaks out for anti-bullying awareness and has talked with local high school FCA groups.
Competition
Wallace is one of the top catchers in collegiate softball. She was named to the 2017 All-SEC First Team at Auburn and was an NFCA South Region First Team selection. She started all 61 games in 2017 and has made two WCWS appearances. Her 20 doubles in 2017 led the conference and ranked third in the country. She also led her squad with .599 slugging and .464 on-base percentages.
