Classroom

Double major in management science and math, with a minor in business administration…Enrolled in the 4+1 EMIS program, and will earn a master’s degree upon graduation…Has a 3.52 GPA…Attended every summer session since her enrollment prior to her freshman year, and earned enough credits to qualify as a sophomore by December of her first year…Positive example to other student-athletes through both her own study habits, as well as her use of resources.

Character

Voted team captain as a sophomore, and will serve as a team captain for the third straight season this year…Team leader on and off the court, both vocally and through her actions…Challenges her teammates to give extra effort in training, both at practice and on their own…Positive role model for young fans…Takes time to get to know the girls who come to the matches and camps.

Community

Active in numerous community service roles, both sponsored by SMU and on her own…volunteers at a women’s shelter and a children’s hospital…Mentor for Big Brothers/Big Sisters…Helped lead SMU’s Fall Festival and its Let’s SAAC Hunger campaign…Regularly participates in Read Across America…Has volunteered at Get Kids Fit Fest in Dallas…Active leader at the YMCA.

Earned All-America Honorable Mention and AVCA All-Midwest Region First Team accolades as a sophomore…Named All-Conference all three seasons, including first team selections as a sophomore and junior…Ranked third in the American Athletic Conference with 454 points scored last season…Led SMU in kills each of the last two seasons, and has 1,030 for her career…Has a .256 career attack percentage…Recorded a career-high 26 kills at UCF as a sophomore, and posted 20 in a match last season…Has 335 career digs, including 167 in 2013…Served a school-record 51 aces in 2012, and has 85 in three seasons.
