Carson Gatt carries a 3.466 GPA as a member of Michigan State’s honors college (called the James Madison College) and is aiming to go to law school following his hockey career.
Character
Gatt was selected as one of the three Spartan assistant captains for this season. As one of three seniors (and the only senior captain) on a team with 19 underclassmen, his leadership is extremely valuable.
Community
Gatt has partaken in several team community initiatives, including the Spartan Student-Athlete Food Drive and special-needs trick or treating
Competition
Gatt was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection last season.
