Chase Bromstedt

University of Tulsa

Business Finance

Bromstedt graduated in the Fall of 2020 with a business finance degree, carrying a 3.36 GPA.

He was named to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team three years, from 2017-2020

“Bromstedt’s story is similar to so many other athletes in America, overlooked because they physically bloom late. He didn’t grow or mature until his senior year of high school, but then grew nine inches. We first noticed Bromstedt while watching his Sporting KC play during his senior year, and we know he looked interesting. He had a good technique, a good brain, and worked hard. Speaking to Sporting’s Jon Parry after the game, we had no idea that Bromstedt was a senior, as he looked so young. He fought through years of being the smallest player at the highest youth soccer level and never gave up. Due to his experiences, Bromstedt has a tremendous competitive spirit and, combined with his soccer ability, has become a very good player.”
- Head Coach Tom McIntosh

Bromstedt has volunteered with Read Across America, Lift Up America, and the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma during his time at Tulsa.

He was also a member of Beta Alpha Psi, an honor society for accounting, finance, and information systems students.

Both a three-year letterwinner and starter, Bromstedt has started 37 of 46 games. He was named to the All-American Athletic Conference second team as a sophomore.

On Nov. 6, 2017, he was named The American Rookie of the Week. Throughout his career, Bromstedt has been named Tulsa’s Man of the Match six times.
