Corey Adams maintains a 3.32 GPA in marketing with a minor in leadership studies. He’s also a two-time first-team Academic All-Big 12 selection.

Character

Adams represents Kansas State in a respectful manner as he has always shown good sportsmanship towards the opposition, officials and athletic department personnel. He has helped opposing players off the ground on numerous occasions and has not been involved in any negative actions with any opposing player, teammate or coach. Adams also portrays K-State football well towards the media, usually being the first player to arrive when he is requested and answers every question in a respectful manner.

Community

Adams has participated in various community service projects throughout his time in Manhattan. They include Senior Cats, in which he spent time with the elderly at a local retirement home, Junior Cats, in which he spent time with local elementary school kids, Haiti Relief truck loading following the Haiti earthquake, TAPS program in Fort Riley, where he spent time with kids that have lost a parent while serving overseas, Special Olympics and cleanup after a tornado damaged a Manhattan neighborhood in the summer of 2008.

Competition

Adams, who was K-State’s Special Teams Player of the Year, is one of the nation’s top long snappers and has appeared in every game since becoming a Wildcat. Adams has been perfect on a combined 356 snaps in his three-year career, including 69 field goal/PAT attempts and 55 punt snaps in 2009.
