Character
A team captain on a team with seven seniors exemplifies Jones’ standing among the team and the staff. She is the one player who will call the team together during practice for a meeting to refocus or regroup. Head Coach Keegan Cook says, “Crissy has made it a point to be the one who is courageous enough to kind of call it like it is and share with her teammates the expectations and the standards.”
Community
Jones has visited Seattle Children’s Hospital with teammates to talk with patients. She volunteered time to coach youth volleyball players looking to make their high school teams.
Competition
Jones was a second-team All-American from the AVCA in her junior season in 2016. She was named to the All-Pac-12 Team and the All-Pacific North Region Team. She helped the Huskies win the Pac-12 title for the second year in a row in 2016 and advance to the Elite Eight.
