Demi Muses currently holds a 3.07 GPA and has been on the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for 2014 and 2015.

Character

Muses is the 2016 team captain and a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. She is an MVP bystander trainer for incoming student-athletes, helped organize the Student Athlete Talent Show and participated in the MLK Summit.

Community

Muses had a big impact through initiatives such as Soles for Soles, Read Across America, Pease Greeters and Dig Pink. She helped organize a corn hole tournament to raise money for the holiday food and toy drive and organized and ran the annual Volley for Holly fundraiser. Muses has also raised money for the Bowl for Kids Sake and pulled together UNH teams, sororities and fraternities to attend, donate and fundraise. She also spends a lot of time volunteering at Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization.

Competition

Muses was named to the 2015 American Volleyball Coaches Association All-East Region Honorable Mention Team and 2015 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Second Team. She also was the 2015 America East Co-Player of the Year and a 2015 America East All-Conference First Team selection. She was the 2014 America East Championships Most Outstanding Player and a 2013 America East All-Rookie Team selection. As of nomination time, Muses currently leads the team in kills per set (3.61), sits second in total kills (148) and is second on the team in total blocks (27.0).
