Smith has a 3.50 GPA. He made the Athletic Director’s list six times, the Dean’s List four times, the Chancellor’s list once and the Atlantic 10 honor roll three times. He was named second-team NSCAA Scholar All-South Region in 2011
Character
Smith is a good student and one of the 49ers team leaders last season as he helped the 49ers reach the College Cup Championship game.. He will be one of the team leaders this season as well.
Community
Participated in numerous youth soccer clinics…Helped with a Campus Clean Up project several times…Volunteered on the game staff for several international and professional soccer games in the Charlotte area.
Competition
Smith was named second-team All-Atlantic 10 in 2011 and was named to the College Cup All-Tournament team in 2011. He played a major role in helping the 49ers reach the College Cup Championship game in 2011. He was named first-team All-Atlantic 10 in 2010 and has earned several National Team of the Week honors in his career.
