Classroom

Evan Stephens was honored on the All-Academic ECAC team three years in a row and academic All-Ivy as a sophomore. Stephens participated in a summer program with the Tuck School of Business Bridge program this past summer. Bridge is a four-week, total-immersion program for rising juniors, seniors and recent graduates. The selection process for the Bridge program is highly selective and is based entirely on previous grades.

Character

Stephens is a member of Athletes United, which is a student-run organization that provides interaction through sports between Dartmouth student-athletes and the area youth. The organization was created, founded and is run entirely by Dartmouth students. Stephens is an integral part of the the men’s hockey team’s visit to the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth each Christmas to deliver toys that the team collects during a regular-season game.

Community

Stephens goes to the local rink and helps run hockey camps and clinics for area youth. He was also elected as the 2010-11 Treasurer of Chi Heorot Fraternity and has been involved with fundraising for the fraternity.

Competition

Stephens was Dartmouth’s leading defensive scorer last season with 20 points. For his performance, he was selected as an All-Ivy honorable mention and third-team All-ECAC. Stephens registered a career-high six goals while adding 14 assists. As a sophomore he recorded 22 points and was selected as an All-Ivy honorable mention.
