Gabby Seiler has made the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll twice (2014, 2016) and made the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll in 2013. She received her bachelor’s degree in telecommunications management in August of 2017 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in management.

Character

Seiler is the 2017 Gator team captain.

Community

Seiler participated in several Goodwill Gator (community service) activities including Soccer4Kids, where she visited youth at Metcalfe Elementary; the 2016 Girls on the Run 5K, which was a run to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident; and Gainesville’s Girls Place, where she worked with youth. She also was a counselor at the 2015 and 2016 Climb for Cancer where Gator student-athletes play games with children with or recovering from cancer.

Competition

Seiler was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Region First Team in 2016 and the Second Team in 2014. In 2014 and 2016 she was named to the All-Southeastern Conference First Teams, as well as the 2016 SEC All-Tournament team.

Seiler has participated in various U.S. Youth National Team events over the years, including being invited to three U-23 camps in 2017. She has been on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List as a sophomore, junior and senior. Also, she has been the SEC Offensive Player of the Week twice, in 2017 with Florida and 2014 with Georgia.
