Classroom
Wells, an anthropology major who minors in environmental studies, has interned with Pfizer, the world’s largest pharmaceutical company. She is a three-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
Character
Wells is a two-time team captain. She was nicknamed “Little General” by her head coach and she has captained the United States Under-23 National Team during exhibitions this summer.
Community
Wells is a member of the Georgetown Girls Can Club, which matches players with youths from the area in a mentoring relationship. She is active in Hoya Dreams, partnering GU student-athletes with kids from the Georgetown University Hospital.
Competition
A three-time All-American selection, Wells was also the Big East Midfielder of the Year and is a three-time First Team All-BIG EAST Selection. She was the BIG EAST Rookie of the Year in 2007. She is a member of the United States U-23 National Team and helped lead the U-20 team to gold medal at World Cup.
