Classroom

Livers continues to be on track to graduate with a general studies degree.

Character

Livers is one of the most respectful, high character individuals I have ever worked with. Livers has always been a steady voice for the program, never shying away from an interview. Livers is and has been active with social injustice matters and been a model example for out department and program.

Livers cares about his teammates, school, and takes time with questions and answers them thoughtfully and fully. When Livers considered the NBA and went through the process, he came back and never looked back. Livers wants to win and that has shown.

Community

Livers has volunteered with many organizations while on campus. They include Toys for Tots, Mott Children’s Hospital, promotional events with fans, basketball camps, and reading programs.

Competition

In 2019-20, Livers earned All-Big Ten honorable mention and Battle 4 Atlantis All-Tournament team honors, winning three straight games against Iowa State, No. 6 North Carolina, and No. 8 Gonzaga.

In 2018-19, Livers was a Big Ten Sportsmanship honoree, and also earned Michigan’s Sixth Man Award and Travis Conlan Sportsmanship Award.

Livers also helped Michigan reach consecutive 30 win seasons in 2017-18 and 2018-19, with those two seasons being the fourth and fifth time Michigan reached that mark. In 2017-18, Livers helped lead Michigan to it’s second straight Big Ten Tournament title, becoming the third Big Ten program to win back-to-back conference tournament crowns. Michigan also won the 2018 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off title.

In 2017-18 and 2018-19, Livers and Michigan reached two straight NCAA Sweet 16 appearances, reaching the Final Four in 2017-18.
