James Rahe is a mechanical engineering major with a 3.18 GPA.

Character

According to Head Coach Andrew McMinn, Rahe is a very well-rounded student-athlete who has excelled in the classroom and on the field. He has grown tremendously as a leader of the program and continues to set a positive example for his teammates while constantly striving to improve himself in everything he does.

Community

Rahe is currently a part of the Team Impact Ambassadors for RMU men’s lacrosse, a lacrosse coach for the Pine-Richland School District, and has worked with the Moon Crest After-School Program multiple times throughout his four years at Robert Morris.

Competition

Rahe is a two-time All-NEC Second Team honoree and a captain of this year’s squad. In 40 career games entering 2016, he had recorded 41 goals, 35 assists, 76 points and 36 ground balls. Rahe had made 26 starts in his last 27 appearances, and, last season, he led the team in assists (19) and points (36) and finished second in goals (17). He ranked second in the NEC in assists per game (1.36) and sixth in points per game (2.57).
