The Men’s 2005-06 Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award winner is Duke’s J.J. Redick. CBS sportscaster Dick Enberg made the announcement to a live national television audience viewing the network’s telecast of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship in Indianapolis. As a senior, Redick scored 964 points, becoming the Duke University and the ACC all time scoring leader. He averaged 26.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals. He led the ACC in scoring and three point field goal percentage (3.86) and was second in free throw percentage (.863).
