Dreshaj posted a 3.94 GPA during his most recent term to improve to a 3.86 cumulative GPA as a Pre-Business Administration major at OU. He earned the R. Michael O’Brien Scholarship for Academic and Athletic Achievement. He has been on the Dean’s List all three years at Oakland. Dreshaj was a three-time Academic All-Summit League Honoree (3.0 term GPA or better during season of competition), a three-time Summit League Distinguished Scholar (3.6 term GPA or higher during season of competition) and a two-time Summit League Commissioner’s List of Excellence Honoree (3.0 GPA or higher for entire school year).

Character

Dreshaj volunteers with Oakland County Meals on Wheels program and works part-time at a local restaurant to help pay his way through college.

Community

Dreshaj volunteers as a youth soccer coach in Rochester, Michigan, and as an instructor for boys and girls youth camps and clinics in Rochester.

Competition

Dreshaj has scored nine goals and provided five assists for 23 points during his career at OU. A clutch player, six of his goals have been game-winning goals. He scored the match-winning goal in the Summit League Championship to send OU to the 2010 NCAA Tournament. Dreshaj also netted an overtime match-winner against then No. 14 Drake and led Oakland in scoring in 2010 with four goals. He has earned All-Summit League first team, All-Newcomer and All-Tournament team honors.

This season, Dreshaj is second on the Oakland team in scoring with two goals through six matches. He picked up his seventh career match-winning goal, with an overtime winner against Cleveland State earlier this season.
