Classroom

Frierson continues to thrive in the classroom as evident by her multiple academic awards over the past three seasons. This past season she was named the NSCAA Women’s College Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year and has been on the SEC Academic Honor Roll all three years thus far. She was also a CoSIDA Academic All-America selection last year. She carries a 3.91 GPA while studying political science and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.

Character

Frierson has one of the most infectious personalities on the Auburn soccer team. A team captain, she demands the most out of her teammates while continually propping them up with praise, never deflecting blame on others and always taking responsibility for the team.

Community

Frierson is a mainstay in the Auburn and Birmingham communities while this past summer she went to Nicaragua for the Soccer Without Borders mission trip. The soccer SAAC representative and a leader in Auburn’s FCA, she has been actively involved with Committee of 19 and Auburn War on Hunger, has helped in Campus Kitchens, the Alabama Food Bank and the AUMC Food Pantry. She also volunteers many hours to coaching youth soccer.

Competition

Auburn’s first and only three-time First Team All-SEC in her first three seasons, Frierson is the heart and soul of the Auburn soccer program. Last season she recorded at least one point in every single Auburn win and 63 of her 73 career points have come in Auburn victories. Not only has she excelled at Auburn but she has also been on the cusp of moving up to the Women’s National Team as she has participated in U-23 camps, the team one step below the WNT.
