Classroom

Alexander has a 3.272 cumulative GPA and is a social studies education major with a minor in French and francophone studies. She has been on the Dean’s List twice and also on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll every semester of her collegiate career. She is also a Syracuse Scholar Athlete.

Character

Alexander is the unquestioned leader of the Syracuse women’s basketball team. She is heavily involved in numerous community outreach projects (see community service). She is a Syracuse University U100 Admissions Ambassador (summer 2010 to present), an exclusive and highly selective group that assists prospective students and families.

Community

Alexander is highly involved in community, participating in many volunteer programs. She is a volunteer speech teacher to Syracuse area high school students. She volunteers at Syracuse area food pantries/soup kitchens as a server and visits area schools. She is a Nottingham Senior Center Volunteer and a volunteer summer basketball coach.

Competition

Alexander is a Two-time All-BIG EAST (2011, 2012) selection. She was on the BIG EAST All-Rookie Team (2010). Her career averages are: 13.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 2.4 bpg, .525 fg percentage. AS a junior, she averaged 14.8 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.6 bpg, and shot 50 percent from the field. She led the BIG EAST and set a school record in blocks (96), ranked 10th in scoring and ninth in rebounding. She has 1,451 career points and ranks fifth all-time at Syracuse. She is on pace to become school’s all-time leading scorer. She has 256 career blocks and is just six shy of school record. She also ranks second in free throws made all-time (256), third in field goal percentage (.525), sixth in field goals (525) and ninth in rebounds (693). She has 19 career double-doubles and has 12 games of 20+ points last season. She is a member of the Canadian national team program.
