Community

Has done 68 hours of community service since enrolling at Creighton, including 20 or more hours each year … As a freshman, participated in two clinics, the “Just Read” program, a “Night Out With the Jays” evening, and a visit to Children’s Hospital … As a sophomore helped with student move-in, five different clinics, the Night Out With the Jays, the Abide project, an elementary school visit and three visits with a young kid who was battling cancer … As a junior, again spent time with a young child with cancer, the Abide Network, Salvation Army, a visit to both an elementary and a middle school, Night Out With the Jays and the Bluejay Jamboree.

Competition

Two-time All-American Honorable-Mention choice, and also two-time First Team All-Conference and two-time All-Region choice ... As a junior, led BIG EAST and ranked 8th nationally with 1.53 blocks per set ... Was also 135th nationally in hitting percentage (.323) ... Team finished 23-9 and reached second round of NCAA Tournament ... Named to All-Tourney Team at 2 different events ... Preseason BIG EAST Co-Player of the Year ... Tied for national lead with 204 blocks as a sophomore, when she was 5th in blocks per set (1.65)and 32nd in hitting percentage (.370) ... Also MVC Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore while setting Creighton single-season marks for block assists, total blocks and hitting percentage for a team that finished 29-4 and won first-ever league regular-season and league tournament titles while advancing to second round of NCAA Tournament ... Named to two different All-Tournament teams as a sophomore, and was also a two-time MVC Defensive Player of the Week ... Played sparingly as a freshman, but was MVC Freshman of the Week after debuting with 11 kills and six blocks in a five-set win over UTSA ... Owns school records for career attack percentage (.333) and career blocks per set (1.43).
