Reeves has earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors in both seasons she has been eligible. She has also been on the UCLA Athletic Director Honor Roll for each of the last four quarters (through Spring 2013), holding at least a 3.0 grade point average and passing at least 12 quarter units.

Character

Almost unheard of in the collegiate ranks, Reeves has served as a team captain for the UCLA women’s volleyball squad since her sophomore season. It is impossible to miss her on the court, with her exuberant celebrations after every victorious point, and even her motivation for her teammates upon a losing point, whether she is on the court or on the bench. On the court, Kelly has been everywhere, starting at basically every position throughout her time, playing outside hitter and defensive specialist as a freshmen, opposite hitter as a sophomore and the 1-hitter rotation and back row as a junior. Last spring, Kelly was selected as one of 13 conference athletes to play on the Pac-12 All-Star Team, which toured China in June. She has also served as the UCLA team video correspondent on The Reeves Report, the video blog produced every week for UCLABruins.com. In the summer of 2011, she was the team captain for the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team, which finished fourth at the FIVB Women’s Junior World Championship in Peru. Kelly concluded the tournament seventh among all players in points scored. She won gold at the NORCECA Women’s Junior Continental Championships with the JNT in July 2010, gold with the U.S. Youth National Team at the 2008 NORCECA Girls’ Youth Championships and silver with the USA Select White Team at the 2007 USAV High Performance Championships.

Reeves has given her time to many charitable causes during her time as a Bruin.
