Classroom

Luper has a cumulative GPA of 3.54 and a spring 2012 semester GPA of 3.71. She was a 2012 Capital One Academic All-District selection, a Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association Scholar-Athlete, a 2012 Summit League Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence selection, 2012 Summit League All-Academic Team selection, a Golden Eagle Super Scholar and a Five-time Golden Eagle Scholar.

Character

Luper is a team captain who exemplifies ORU’s mission of glorifying God and servant leadership.

Community

Luper is active in FCA and her church, Victory Christian Center, in Tulsa. She has participated in three mission trips: once to Mexico and twice to the Dominican Republic. She helped build a church in Mexico, and conducted basketball camps and church services in the DR, including ministering to local children’s homes and prisons. She volunteers as a bell ringer and meal server at the Salvation Army. She volunteers with the Boys & Girls Club, helping to clean their activity center and she volunteers with the local Upward Basketball league, helping evaluate players and place them on teams.

Competition

Luper is a three-time All-American, a three-time Summit League Player of the Year and a two-time Summit League Defensive Player of the Year. She has bee the Summit League Player of the Week 14 times. and is the all-time leading scorer in ORU and Summit League history. Luper led NCAA Division I in scoring (23.7 ppg) and steals (3.7 spg) in 2010-11, becoming the first player in NCAA history to top both categories in one season. She finished 2nd in NCAA Division I basketball in scoring (23.8 ppg), 5th in steals (3.8 spg) and 21st in free throw percentage (85.75) in 2011-12.
She played for Team USA at the 2011 Pan American Games in Mexico.
