Character
Willis was voted captain by his teammates and was selected to be the keynote speaker at the 2018 Big Ten kickoff luncheon.
Community
Willis volunteers his time at several community events including the King Community Center in his hometown of Jackson, Michigan, where his father is the director of the community center. He was recently nominated for the Allstate Good Works Team and the Wuerffel Trophy.
Competition
Willis is a four-year letter winner and is in his second season as a starter. He was named honorable mention All-Big Ten as a junior and is off to a strong start in his senior season.
