Classroom

Bullinger is on pact to graduate in spring 2012 with a 3.44 GPA in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History and Political Science. He has twice earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors. Following his basketball career he plans on pursuing a career in teaching.

Character

Bullinger has been a leader for his team on and off the court. This past season when the reigning Big Sky Conference MVP went out with an injury, Bullinger stepped up and saw an increase in his leadership role as he helped the team rally back and finish third in the league standings. This past summer Bulllinger was married. His wife, Katie, is a former volleyball player at Weber State.

Community

Bulllinger has been involved in several community and charitable activities during his time as a student-athlete at Weber State. For the last two years he has accompanied his team and other student-athletes at Weber State to do community service at the Boys & Girls Club in the area. He has also participated in helping run the Special Olympics for the past two years and has been involved in community-service projects at the Catholic Church that he attends. In addition, he has spent time visiting weekly with a 96-year old man in his neighborhood. The man’s wife past away earlier this year and Bullinger has been a friend and companion in weekly visits.

Competition

As a junior, Bullinger earned first-team All-Big Sky honors after averaging 11.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He has twice helped the Wildcats win Big Sky championships. Bullinger has started every game of his career and enters his senior season with 899 career points and needs just 101 points to become the 25th player in Weber State history to score 1,000 career points. He also needs just 30 more rebounds become the 22nd player in school history with 500 career rebounds.
