Character

Called the most unselfish player during his time by coach Brooks Monaghan, Davis is the perfect model as the ideal teammate. A three-year captain, Davis is a self-starter that has the inner-drive to get the best out of herself and her teammates. Missing training camp for 2014 due to the U20 World Cup, Davis took it upon herself to go through fitness tests and have them taped to motivate her teammates back in Memphis.

Community

A humble student-athlete at the University of Memphis, Davis has been out in the community since arriving at Memphis in 2011. Davis has visited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital numerous times to interact with children there and has volunteered her time to assist with the St. Jude’s Marathon. Davis is registered to run in the St. Jude Marathon this year. Davis has read books to elementary school kids in the area, helped clean up the Shelby Farms park and assisted with numerous soccer clinics put on by the team. She has also participated in the ‘Walking as One’, a venture by the Church Health Center in midtown Memphis.

Competition

Having appeared in 56 games and making 50 starts in her career, Davis has seen Memphis post a 45-16-3 record over her three-year career. Davis has scored seven goals and added 15 assists for 29 points. Of her seven goals, four have been game-winners. Davis is a two-time all-conference first team selection and was named to the American All-Tournament Team in 2013. Davis has played for her country (Canada) twice in FIFA World Cup action, including the 2012 U20 World Cup in Japan and the 2014 U20 World Cup in Canada
