Deberg carries a 3.56 cumulative GPA at Missouri and has held a 3.50 or better in five semesters since arriving in 2018.

She has earned Dean’s List honors twice and was selected to the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, becoming one of only nine Missouri Tigers to receive the honor.

Character

Deberg is a leader for Missouri Volleyball, both on and off the court. Originally quiet and reserved when first arriving in Columbia, she has become a more vocal leader every year.

Her teammates look up to her in any situation, as Deberg excels at an All-American level in all aspects

Community

Completing over 40 hours of community service since arriving in 2018, Deberg has volunteered with countless organizations in Columbia, Missouri.

They include: Mizzou Volleyball Black & Gold Youth Clinic, Columbia Elementary Schools Open House, Columbia Mall Meet & Greet, Tiger Food for Friends, Missouri Show Me State Games, and the United Way.

Competition

In 2019, Deberg earned AVCA second team All-America honors, AVCA Southeast All-Region honors, and was selected the the All-SEC team. She produced one of the of the finest single-seasons in Mizzou Volleyball history, becoming only the sixth Tiger to garner multiple All-American awards.

During that 2019 season, she finished with 524 kills, 49 aces, and 612.5 total points to pace one of the NCAA’s most electric offenses. Her 524 kills and 4.72 kills per set were the most in Missouri single-season history. Deberg became only the second Mizzou player with 600-plus points in a single season, joining Yvette Buhlig from 1992. In the final NCAA individual statistical rankings, Deberg finished eight in points per set, 12th in points, 14th in kills per set, 17th in kills, and 31st in aces.

In 2018, Deberg earned AVCA Southeast All-Region and All-SEC honors.

Throughout her career, she has earned five SEC Overall Player of the Week and six SEC Offensive Player of the Week awards.
