Barrett is a three-time Academic SEC Honor Roll selection who has maintained a 3.4 GPA in her major of sports administration commerce throughout her career.
Character
Barrett is a leader on and off the floor who has demonstrated what it means to be a Lady Tiger. In the summer, she serves as an intern for the LSU Game Management office.
Community
Barrett has been an active participant in the community throughout her career. She visited patients at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s hospital in the summer. She was part of the Lady Tigers’ GPA program and was adopted by a local school in Baton Rouge where she addressed students about the values of hard work and getting an education. She assisted underprivileged children at a football practice in Baton Rouge.
Competition
Barrett is a 2012 Wade Trophy and Wooden Award candidate who is one of only 17 players in LSU history with 1,000 career points and 500 rebounds. She was a 2011 First-Team All-SEC Selection and State Farm All-American honorable mention award winner. She was the 2009 SEC Co-Freshman of the Year. She has produced 11 double-doubles in three seasons and is a career 12.2 ppg scorer.
