Classroom

Roddy maintains a 3.938 GPA as a business management major. In addition, she earned a spot on the Academic All-MAC Team following her sophomore and junior seasons. She has also been an NIU Victory Scholar each of her three seasons by maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Character

Roddy is a player who leads by example on the court, as evidenced by her performance and work ethic. She consistently makes sure each member of the team gives their best effort during every practice and match.

Community

Roddy has accumulated 30 community service hours during her career at NIU. In addition, she also volunteered this past summer at the FIVB World League matches in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

Competition

Roddy has played in 99 matches - starting 61 - and 357 sets. She has accumulated 1,037 kills in her career, making her the 21st player in NIU history to eclipse the 1,000-kill mark. In 2013, she earned first team All-MAC honors after leading the Huskies with 483 points and ranked fifth in the MAC with 3.48 kills/set, in addition to finishing second on the team with 2.63 digs/set and 23 service aces. Roddy led the conference and ranked 89th in the country in service aces in 2012, averaging 0.34 aces/set. She also ranked eighth in the conference in kills that year with 3.35 per set. In NIU’s career record books, Roddy is 10th in attack attempts (3,204), 16th in kills/set (2.90) and 18th in points/set (3.35).
