Well-respected by his coaches and teammates, he is a co-captain and has been a starter since his freshman season.
Community
DiFrangia has volunteered for the St. John’s Midnight Run and at the St. Nick’s Men’s Shelter. He participated in the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Run and has been a volunteer coach at the HEADstrong lacrosse camp.
Competition
DiFrangia was selected to the 2014 All-BIG EAST second team after starting every game of the season at close defense. He was the Red Storm’s most outstanding defensive performer, ranking second in the BIG EAST and 11th nationally in caused turnovers per game at 1.86. He also led St. John’s with 26 caused turnovers overall and added 37 groundballs on the season, ranking second on the team.
