Classroom
Griffin maintains a 3.82 GPA and has been named to the Dean’s List multiple times. She will graduate from SUU this spring with a degree in Psychology.
Character
SUU head coach Kyle Magnusson made the following statement about Griffin. “You’re not going to find a better person of athlete, she is the real deal. The way she goes about things on and off the field is the way it should be.”
Community
Griffin spends several hours each week volunteering in the local community. She can often be found at nearby Danville Academy, a center for adults with mental disorders, assisting residents with everyday tasks. She also assists with patient rehabilitation at the Kolob Care Center and has organized softball events for the local youth.
Competition
Griffin was named an Easton All-American after a record-setting junior season at SUU. She led the team with a .404 batting average, 65 hits, 12 home runs, 115 total bases, 10 stolen bases and a .714 slugging percentage. Those numbers also helped Griffin earn recognition as the Summit League Player of the Year.
