Classroom

Forristall earned his degree with a 3.121 GPA and carries a 3.80 GPA in graduate school. He earned Dean’s List honors in Spring 2016 and Fall 2017, also earning SEC First Year Honor Roll in 2016-17.

He is a three-time SEC Fall Honor Roll award winner, from 2017-2019.

Character

Even as Forristall battled injuries for most of his career, he continued to be one of the most selfless, dedicated, and hardworking athletes at the University of Alabama. He is a model of consistency on and off the field, and provides a commendable example for his teammates to follow.

Forristall took a leadership role in the Alabama locker room during his junior season, and will continue that role in 2019-20. His efforts earned him a spot on the team’s leadership council and will likely earn him permanent captain status by the end of the 2019-20 season. Forristall sets an example on the field each and every day, working through all adversity he or his team may face.

Community

Off the field, Forristall is extremely dedicated to his studies, his Fellowship of Christian Athletes Bibly study sessions, and his volunteer efforts. He uses his status as a member of the football team to better his community and understands that his voice and volunteer efforts can affect an audience much greater than just this campus. Since arriving on campus, Forristall has been one of the most dedicated athletes when it comes to helping with service projects. His attitude and willingness to serve others, combined with his on-field ability as both a gifted athlete and a leader, make him the ideal role model.

Foristall has volunteered extensively for FCA. He has contributed over 200 hours of community service during his time at the Capstone. He has attended two seperate mission trips with the AFCA and FCA. Forristall spent a week in Costa Rica coaching football camps, while also helping educate the community on healthy habits and community conditions. With fellow FCA student-athletes, Forristall traveled to a Nicaraguan Refugee Camp to volunteer. Throughout his time on campus, he has participated in hospital visits and community service events on the Crimson Tide’s bowl trips.

Competition

Forristall has played in 48 career games and has 17 starts to his name, including 15 straight over the last two seasons. During his career, he has totaled 393 yards and five scores on 31 catches.

He has helped the Alabama Crimson Tide rank near the top of the league in every offensive statistic, thanks to his blocking efforts at the line.
