Classroom
Johnson plans to graduate in December of 2008 with a degree in Marketing. Currently holding a 3.96 GPA, she was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 3 First Team in 2007. She was a two-time selection to the All-ACC Academic Women’s Soccer Team in 2006 and 2007.
Character
A captain of the Clemson soccer team for two years, Johnson is a natural leader. She is highly respected by her coaches and teammates on and off the field.
Community
Johnson volunteers regularly at the Majestic Kingdom, a children’s church. Her FCA small group takes gifts to a local women’s shelter during the holidays and writes letters to children in area hospitals. Along with the rest of her Tiger teammates, she has visited several area elementary schools and participated in Clemson’s Be A T.I.G.E.R! Character Education initiative.
Competition
Johnson started all 82 games of her four-year career on the Clemson back line. She has been a mainstay on the Tiger defense, which gave up just 23 goals for a 1.03 goals against average in 2007.
