Classroom

Myah Pace is an outstanding scholar-athlete at San Diego, carrying a 3.7 GPA. Pace has been honored for her work in the classroom as a WCC All-Academic Team honoree and an honorable mention honoree.

Pace hopes to utilize her architecture degree to plan communities and better the living situations of those in urban populations.

Character

Myah Pace has exemplified leadership during her tenure at San Diego, especially when it comes to bettering her team and program. Pace has helped spearhead diversity and inclusion initiatives within the women’s basketball program.

Pace is also a three-time captain and overcame a serious head injury from her sophomore year to become one of the leaders for the Toreros the following season.

Community

Myah Pace works tirelessly to better her community and has taken an interest in equity, diversity, and inclusion work during her time at San Diego. Pace currently serves as the SAAC EDI committee chair, is a member of the Black Student Union, the Black Engineering Society, and has worked with nonprofits to better orphanages in Africa. Pace’s work with these organizations has created great impact not only in her local community but also beyond the borders of California.

Competition

Myah Pace has been key to the Toreros latest successes on the court, breaking the all-time single season steals record during the 2019-20 campaign. Pace’s efforts on defense have helped the program rank amongst the best in the country in four different defensive categories.

Pace is an All-WCC first team honoree, an All-WCC Tournament team selection and a WCC All-Freshman Team honoree. Last season, Pace led the team in scoring and recorded 20 double-digit performances in 31 games.
