Natalie Land

Classroom

Land has a cumulative GPA of 3.75 and is expected to graduate in July. Her career interests include working in physical therapy. Her academic awards include:  2011 All-Conference USA First Team, 2011 Capital One Academic All-District III First Team, 2011 C-USA All-Academic Team, 2010 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III Second Team, 2010 C-USA All-Academic Team, two-time C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal Recipient and a three-time C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll Member.

Character

Land is a four year starter, a proven leader and leads by example as well as vocally.

Community

Land is an executive board member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She is in charge of planning community service events for all UCF student athletes at various locations such as the Central Florida Children’s Home and the Florida Hospital. She is also a member of Captain’s Council.

Competition

Land has started every game of collegiate career. She led the Knights in batting average (.346), runs (31), hits (54), doubles (7), triples (5), slugging percentage (.513), on-base percentage (.436), sacrifice hits (9) and stolen bases (25) as a junior. She ranked first in C-USA in sac hits (17), T5th in stolen bases (20), T3d in assists (113) and second in double plays turned (13) as a sophomore. She led UCF in batting average (.304), runs (32), hits (49), sacrifice hits and stolen bases as a sophomore. She led UCF in stolen bases (14) and was second in sacrifice bunts (11) as a freshman. She has been a member of the All-Conference USA first team twice (2010 and 2011), was a member of the C-USA championship tournament team and the 2009 C-USA all-freshman team.
