Community

For the last three years, Potter has taken an active role in the Boise State athletic department’s support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Idaho.  He has served as a host at its annual dinner, which is held on the Boise State campus each year. Potter has also been active speaking at local high schools about the Go On Challenge in Idaho, which is an initiative by the JA & Kathyrn Albertson Foundation to raise the bar in Idaho in terms of preparing more students to “Go On” to some type of post-secondary education or training option. Potter also serves as a mentor to the Boise youth football program, and has spent many hours visiting local hospitals.

Competition

Potter enters his senior year as a preseason first-team All-American by Phil Steele and Athlon. He is a two-time first-team All-WAC selection and has been part of an offensive line that has helped Boise State to a three-year record of 38-2 and one of the most potent offense in college football. Potter took on a leadership role the past two years on the offensive line that protected 2010 Heisman Trophy Award finalist quarterback Kellen Moore.
