Character

Jones has one of the more infectious personalities out there, always smiling and always laughing. Jones doesn’t wow with her flashy play style but impresses because she has committed herself to doing all of the little things.

Jones’ leadership is clear when she crashes the boards relentlessly, currently ranking sixth all-time in rebounds and is on pace to becoming the program leader.

Jones is also only three double-doubles from being the A&M leader in the category. Jones has become one of the best players in the country by doing the things that no one else wants to do. Her teammates follow this example, and she has led her squad to an undefeated non-conference record.

Community

Jones was one of the leaders on the team that helped organize a blood drive for individuals with sickle cell anemia, which collected enough blood to save 133 lives.

Competition

The Lawrenceville, Georgia, native earned All-SEC first team recognition this preseason and was named to the first team at the conclusion of last year. Jones led the SEC in rebounds during the 2019-20 campaign and was fourth in the country.
