Nick Dodge

Classroom

Dodge holds a 3.567 cumulative grade point average and is majoring in finance. He was named an ESPN The Magazine Academic District I University At-Large All-Star (2nd) in 2007 and was selected to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team as a sophomore and junior. He hopes to continue school after graduation, working towards an MBA.

Character

Dodge is a two-year Clarkson captain (junior and senior years). He was the first sophomore at Clarkson to serve in a leadership role as an assistant captain (2005-06).

Community

Dodge is involved with Clarkson’s Skate with a Knight , a program that allows local youths the opportunity to skate with Clarkson hockey players.

Competition

Dodge is a team leader on a Clarkson team that is ranked in the Top 10 in the country through late November, owning a 7-3 overall record and a first-place 4-1-0 ECAC Hockey mark. He leads all current Golden Knights in career scoring with 106 points on 43 goals and 63 assists through 121 career games. He is one of the top faceoff men in the country (157-101, 61%). He was a 2007 All-American (2nd Team) and 2007 ECAC Hockey 1st-team All-Star. He was named a 2007 ECAC Hockey preseason All-Star and is considered a strong choice for a Top 10 Hobey Baker Award nomination.
